Abstract

This study deals with the relation of urban development and nature conservation. The procedures depend on 1) recognizing the historical changes of flood, quality of water and green space and 2) devising a model which evaluates the effect of urban development on flood. The result obtained is to clarify 1) the effect of planned urban development on the nature conservation, 2) the usefulness of the deveised model and 3) the effectiveness of the geographical approach.
