Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of pharmacist intervention on medication compliance and adverse reactions of patients after intracoronary stent implantation. Methods 186 patients with intracoronary stent implantation who were treated in our hospital from October 2017 to September 2018 were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups, with 93 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given pharmacist intervention on the basis of the control group. The medication compliance, adverse reactions, and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The medication compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The adverse reaction rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (13.98% vs. 25.81%), with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The patient satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (93.55% vs. 82.80%), with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of pharmacist intervention after the intracoronary stent implantation can improve the patient compliance and satisfaction, reduce the adverse reactions of the patients, and promote the recovery of the patients. Key words: Intracoronary stent implantation; Pharmacist intervention; Medication compliance; Adverse reactions
