Abstract
In order to enhance the heat transfer performance of paraffin, periodic porous lattice structures was designed by triply periodic minimal surface method and formed by selective laser melting(SLM) technology as the heat conduction enhancer of paraffin. Porous Al/paraffin composite phase change materials(PCM) with were prepared by dipping and a phase change heat storage experiment platform was built to study the effect of periodic porous Al structure on the heat transfer performance of paraffin. The results show that the melting characteristics of the paraffin have been significantly improved with the periodic porous Al structure embedded in. The melting rate is greatly increased, the melting time is shortened by more than 61.7%, and the internal temperature gradient during melting is reduced by 41%.
