Abstract

The effect of Oryza Sativa pigment (OSP) on hematopoietic recovery was studied in this experiment. Observed the restore of CFU-GM and CFU-GM suicide percentage of mice after CTX, the treatment group showed earlier hematopoietic recovery than that of control (P<0.01) . The sublethal total body irradiation was used to detect the effect of OSP on CFU-S,and the result showed that OSP before or after TBI groups had more spleen colony cells than that of control (P<0.05) . OSP with different concentrations (50, 100, 150µg/ml) were added into CFU-GM culture in vitro. Groups 100, 150μg/ml had more CFU-GM colonies compared with that of control group (P<0.01) . It showed that OSP had a direct stimulating effect on CFU-GM . The above result suggested: OSP could promote the hematopoietic recovery. Key words: Oryza Sativa pigment; hematopoietic recovery
