Abstract

The effect of nucleating agent on the crystalline morphology under different structure levels of polypropylene (PP) materials was investigated. From the analysis, increasing nucleating agent has an effect on both high and low levels of the crystalline structure. Nucleating agent showed a heterogeneous nucleation effect. The results showed that at the level of the aggregation structure, crystallinity increases and spherulite size tends to decline with increasing nucleating agent. At the same time, the nucleating agent also has an effect on both the crystal grain structure and the unit cell structure.
