Abstract
Although nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are a linchpin of pain management, concern for negative effects on healing has led to questions about their role in acute fracture management. The present study sought to examine this association with a systematic review of the literature on this topic. The authors identified 316 articles potentially relevant to their question, and then reviewed those studies they felt were of greatest relevance and quality of evidence.
