Abstract

Previous reviews on the effectiveness of mindfulness-based therapy (MBT) have been contradictory in their findings. Following further publications of clinical trials the authors of this review aimed to quantify the size of the treatment effect by conducting an effect size analysis of MBT as a therapy to reduce acute symptoms of anxiety and depression.
