Abstract

The research aimes is to know the impact of Merging some modern strategies in teaching history on acheievement of sixth grade students in basic schools, and to clarify them by responding to these null hypotheses There is no statistically significant difference, even by )0.05( between the the scores of students in the Experimental group which taught history through by merging three modern strategies, controlgroup which group taught used traditional methods of teaching,The method used in conducting this research is an quasi experimental, , The research is conducted during the academic year )20212022/(. The total number of students who are selected as samples for the purpose of conducting this research is)60( divided into two groups. The first group, which is the group subject to the requirements of the research, included )30( students on whom the experience is applied through the use of modern teaching methods, while the second group, that also includs )30( students is selected, from Qamishlo Basic School )grades 16-(, a school located in the city center of Sulaymaniyah affiliated to the West Sulaymaniyah Education Directorate The researcher compared the variables and analysed the data for both groups such as, the ages of the students, their IQ ratio, the grades they obtained in the final exam for the subject of history in the previous year, and the cultural level of the students’ parents. By comparison, it was found that both groups are equal , There are statistically : significant differences in the degree of acquisition by )0.05( between the two groups, in favor of the students of the test group compared to the degree of acquisition of the students of the control group . The experimental sample group, who are taught through the use of three strategies, namely, the strategies of peer education, trio listening, as well as knowledge maps for the development of their intelligence, are more successful compared to the control group that are taught through traditional meth.
