Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of local social properties on residents’ intention to participate in urban regeneration projects. Residents’ participation is evaluated as one of the key factors that determine the success or failure of urban regeneration projects. The importance of resident participation is growing as the paradigm of urban regeneration shifts from growth and developmentism to a direction that values the sustainability of the local community.
