Abstract

Porang (Amorphophallus muelleri Blume) is a tuber plant with excellent potential because it contains nutrients and advantages. Liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) must be applied to increase porang output and maintain soil fertility. The research aimed to examine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer application and get the optimum LOF dose that has a better impact on bulbil growth and porang yields. The research was conducted from March 2021 to August 2021 at the Forest Management Unit (BKPH) Pojok in Kemadohbatur Village, Tawangharjo, Grobogan. The design of this research used a one-factor Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with four levels of treatment, namely the dose of liquid organic fertilizer, 0.375 ml/plant, 0.75 ml/plant, 1.125 ml/plant, and control, each level 6 times test. The observational parameters are; the number of bulbils, bulbil weight, fresh tuber weight, tuber diameter, dry wind weight, and tuber volume. Data analysis in this research uses ANOVA test level 5%. Regression test is used to determine the optimum dose. The results showed that the application of LOF with treatment doses has not been able to produce bulbil growth and porang yields well, and there is no optimum dose because there is no significant increase in bulbil growth and porang yields.
