Abstract

Strategic Entrepreneurship is a combination of entrepreneurship and strategic management that aims to gain competitive advantage by exploiting the resources and capabilities of the organization. Understanding relationship between strategic entrepreneurship and intellectual capital as two basic organizational concepts is very important. Strategic entrepreneurship includes the dimensions of entrepreneurial mindset, entrepreneurial culture, creativity and innovation, entrepreneurial leadership and strategic management of resources and intellectual capital including the dimensions of human capital, structural capital and communication capital. In this research, The main purpose is to explain the impact of intellectual capital and its dimensions on strategic entrepreneurship. Data analysis carried out using structural equation modeling by SmartPLS3 after collecting 78 software companies’ data. We used the standard questionnaire with 37 questions. The results show that intellectual capital with three dimensions of human, structural and relational has a positive and significant effect on strategic entrepreneurship. Therefore, these companies can focus on improving human capital, structural capital and communication capital in order to improve strategic entrepreneurship.
