Abstract
The mechanical behaviour on woven glass fiber reinforced with epoxy decorated with different concentration of Zinc oxide (ZnO) and Aluminium oxide (Al2O3) were studied. Glass fiber is one of the most useful reinforcement materials in composites, its major use being the manufacture of components in the aerospace, automotive, and leisure industries. Composites filled with different weight proportions of Al2O3 and ZnO were fabricated by compression molding method. The objective of this work was to study the mechanical responses such as ultimate mechanical strength, flexural strength and impact strength of the processed composite samples in GFRP composites reinforced with different percentages of 2.5%, 5 %, 7.5%, 10 wt% in the range of aluminum oxide and Zinc oxide. Compare to them, 5% of Al2O3 and ZnO is shown good mechanical responses in all the tests such as tensile, flexural and impact analysis of polymer nanocomposites.
