Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of human resource development on organizational commitment, job satisfaction and job performance. To examine the effect of organizational commitment and job satisfaction on job performance and see the mediating role of each organizational commitment and job satisfaction on the influence of human resource development on job performance. This study uses a quantitative approach by taking the research object of Police Personnel at the North Konawe Police Resort. The population of this study amounted to 223 people, then the sample in this study amounted to 143 people, the sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Research data were collected by questionnaire and processed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study concluded that human resource development has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Human resource development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Human resource development has a positive and significant effect on work performance. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on work performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on job performance. Organizational commitment partially mediates the effect of human resource development on work performance. Job satisfaction partially mediates the effect of human resource development on job performance.
