INTRODUCTION

The overall subject of high speed laser trimming increases in importance as more emphasis is placed on the manufacture of resistor networks and high volume thick film hybrid circuits. We have introduced two important laser trimming parameters- PEAK POWER and PULSE REPETITION RATE. At this point, it is useful to introduce two more laser terms- AVERAGE.
