Abstract

ABSTRACT This study sought to determine the effect of health anxiety levels experienced by Turkish nurses upon their perceptions of conscience during COVID-19. The study was a cross-sectional study involving nurses working in X Hospital (n:207). The study data were collected using Personal Information Form, Health Anxiety Inventory, and Perception of Conscience Scale. The average total Health Anxiety Inventory score was 15.34 ± 5.93 (low). The mean total Perception of Conscience Scale score was 65.67 ± 10.27 (high). The independent variables were effective on perception of conscience at an effect size of 0.11.
