The effect of graft choice on functional outcome in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction: reply to comments by Cebesoy and Subasi

Abstract

Dear Editor, I am writing with regard to the letter from Drs. Cebesoy and Subasi concerning our article on the effect of graft choice on functional outcome in ACL reconstruction [1]. The time frames in the results section (5 months, 6 months) refer to two patients with graft failures (as described previously in the same paragraph): one patient in the PT group and one patient in the STG group. The data in Table 1 are correct; the time frames—23 months (1–60), 25 months (1–83)—are means and ranges that apply to all patients in groups PT and STG, respectively.
