Abstract

All types of surgery in the anterior chamber can cause damage to the corneal endothelial cells and result in reduction of the endothelial cell density. This is the case for glaucoma procedure as well.During this presentation, we will review the available evidence of the effect of trabeculetomy, glaucoma drainage devices (tubes) and MIGs, on the health of the corneal endothelium, in the short and long term.
