A total of 56 milk samples obtained from the crosses in their 5 th , 6th and 7 th lactations were measured for total milk yield and subsequently analysed for percentage protein, fats, total solids (TS) and solids-not-fat (SNF). Genotype and time of milking significantly (p 0.05) between the genotypes or between time of milking.
