Abstract

The influence of gaseous atmospheres on the electrical properties of tellurium thin films was examined. Measurements of the conductivity, the Hall effect and the contact potential difference during the adsorption (desorption) of gases were carried out. It was found that there is an increase in the hole concentration during the adsorption process. Gaseous atmospheres do not exert an influence on the resultant mobility of the holes.
