Abstract
Tribological behavior and strength characteristics of radiated polyethylene terephthalate materials filled by fine dispersed graphite and polytetrafluoroethylene powders are studied. The composite material treated by 150 kGr-dosed gamma radiation shows a low coefficient of friction and high wear resistance. It is recommended for usage as antifrictional material in friction units operating under increased radiation.
