Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the influence of Family Environment, Peers, Self-Control and Financial Literacy on Consumptive Behavior of Students. This research was conducted for three months from March to May 2020. The research method used was a survey method with a quantity approach. The population in this study were 200 students of the Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. Data collection techniques using literature and questionnaire techniques. Data analysis techniques using PASW Statistics 18 and Amos Graphic software version 23.0. The results show that each variable has a different effect. The variable Self Control has a positive effect on Student Consumptive Behavior. The higher a person's Self Control, the lower the Consumptive Behavior of that person. Whereas Family Environment, Peer, and Financial Literacy variables have a negative influence on Consumptive Behavior. The lower the family environment, peers, and financial literacy, the higher the consumptive behavior.
