Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of family continuity care on the lung function , exercise tolerance and life quality of the patients with COPD .Methods A total of 100 patitents with COPD from March 2013 to October 2013 in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into routine nursing group and intervention group .The patients in the routine group were treated with the routine nursing , the patients in the intervention group were treated with continue nursing intervention .The lung function , 6 min walking test results and the life quality were compared between two groups .Results The total distance on foot of the nursing intervention group patients was ( 335+67) m, the total distance on foot of the routine nursing group patients was (201 ±34) m, it was statistically different (P〈0.05) .There were statistically differences between diastolic blood pressure , heart rate, blood oxygen content and Borg score results of two groups ( P〈0.05 ) .the CAT scores of the nursing intervention group patients were less than that of the routine nursing group ( P〈0.05 ) .Lung func-tion improved in patients of the nursing intervention group was obviously superior to the routine nursing group patients , FEV1 and PEF in the intervention group were significantly higher than those of the routine nursing group patients , there were statistically differences ( P〈0.05 ) .Conclusions The family continuity care can effectively improve the lung function of patients with COPD , increase the patient's exercise tol-erance and improve the patients'life quality, it can consider to further promotion in clinic.
