Abstract

Recent research pointed to the usefulness of lateral eye movements as an index of cognitive activity, cerebral activation and anxiety. In the current study the previously reported findings were not confirmed. We conclude that the validity and reliability of lateral eye movements as a measure of hemispheric activation need further study.
