Abstract

Diflubenzuron was tested for its efficacy against the eggs and larvae ofEarias insulana Boisd. in laboratory experiments. The toxicity obtained on dipping the eggs was only moderate and, moreover, the results were highly inconsistent. The mortality of larvae on an artificial diet into which the wettable powder had been incorporated, was relatively high.
