Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of different health education methods on the treatment of oral mucosal inflammation caused by chemo - radiotherapy.Methods A total of 100 cases of patients with head and neck malignant tumor undergone radiation and chemotherapy were randomly divided into two groups.The test group received personalized health education,and the control group received traditional health education.The effect of different health education methods was evaluated on the patients treated with recombinant human granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor for their oral mucosal inflammation caused by chemo-radiotherapy.Results The patients in test group had lighter oral mucosa reaction than those in control group.The difference between the two groups was significant (P<0.05)The patients and familyin test group understood nursing skills and health care better than those in control group.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) There was significantly different satisfaction degree toward health education between two groups.Conclusions The systemic personalized health education model can play a better and specific role in health education.
