إن الجيد المائي يعمل عمى زيادة الأحماض الأمينية الحرة ومنيا الحامض الأميني البرولين Prolineإذ إنتجمع البرولين يزداد من 10أضعاف إلى 125ضعفاً ,وأن ىذا الحامض الاميني يمثل مخزناً لمنتروجين والكاربون المختزلة. فالزيادة في تركيز البرولين تعد واحدة من استجابات خلايا النبات لممحافظة عمى جيد اوزموزي عالي في النبات لضمان
