Abstract

People cope with the stress of fertility treatment in different ways. Some use approach-oriented strategies (e.g., planning), whereas others use avoidance-oriented strategies (e.g., denial). This study evaluated whether these respective coping styles predict mental health outcomes for women seeking fertility treatment.
