Abstract
Physicochemical characteristics of gel systems based on slightly cross-linked acrylamide-acrylic acid copolymers were studied and their dependences on such parameters as the cross-link density, the monomer ratio, and the total content of the monomers in a hydrogel were determined. A burn-healing hydrogel material developed on the basis of this study is nontraumatic, transparent; it is characterized by a high absorption capacity with respect to wound exudates and a delayed release of incorporated drugs.
