Abstract

CuMn, Cu 0.9 Co 0.1 Mn oxide catalysts were prepared by hydrothermal method and the effect of Co content on the catalyst activity for reduction of NO by propane was investigated. Furthermore, catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction pattern(XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectra(XPS) techniques. The experimental results demonstrated that the conversion of NO and C 3 H 8 were all enhanced with introducing of Co. XPS analysis revealed that introducing of Co was favorable for the reduction of NO by propane, which was related to the increasing of O ads species on the surface of the catalysts.
