Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of clinical nursing path ways on the health education for patients with clubfoot orthopedic surgery. Methods A total of 84 patients with clubfoot orthopedic surgery were randomly divided into control group and observation group, observation group adopted full-course health education by clinical nursing pathway table, control group adopted routine health education. Results After the implementation of clinical nursing pathway, the average length of stay, cost of hospitalization, and postoperative incidence of adverse reactions and complications in observation group were significant lower than those in control group.And both the health education content mastery and patients' satisfaction of nursing services in observation group were substantial increased (both P<0.05). Conclusions The application of clinical nursing pathways can be helpful to improve the effects of health education, reduce health care costs and the incidence of postoperative adverse reactions and complications, shorten the average length of stay, enhance the exchange of communication between doctors and patients, nurses and patients, and cultivate young nurses.
