Abstract

Several cultivation conditions were investigated for their influence on the penicillin V-acylase activity ofPleurotus ostreatus. We found that the conditions for good microbial growth and for the increase of penicillin V-acylase activity respectively were quite different. We here describe a method which allows to get good growth and high penicillin V-acylase activity in spite of this discrepancy. present adress: Institut fur Landwirtschaftliche Technologie und Zuckerindustrie, Langer Kamp 5, 3300 Braunschweig, FRG
