Abstract

A model calculation on hydrogen recycling at the TiC wall has been made by taking account of chemical sputtering to form Ti-rich surface and of titanium oxide formation. From the viewpoint of recycling rate control by the wall alone, machine operation will be affected by the change of the surface composition of the wall.
