Abstract
A gasdynamic model is proposed to describe the phase separation in heterogeneous systems of immiscible components under the action of scanning laser pulses in the channeled penetration mode. The model takes into account the motion of immiscible components in vortex flows of the melt under the action of centrifugal forces. The characteristic time of the process development and the size of separated microparticles are estimated. The analytical conditions for the appearance of the concentration separation are determined.
