Abstract

A la suite de le´sions unilate´rales inte´ressant la re´gion tegmentaire ventrome´diane de la partie supe´rieure du tronc ce´re´bral, l'on constate une diminution conside´rable des hydroxylases de la tyrosine et du tryptophane sans modification de la de´hydroge´nase succinique au niveau de diverses structures du te´lence´phale de meˆme coˆte´. Par contre la destruction des noyaux intralaminaires du thalamus ne modifie pas la concentration de ces enzymes au niveau des meˆmes structures. Ces re´sultats sugge´rent que la synthes de la dopamine et de la se´rotonine s'e´labore aux de´pens de circuits neuronaux distincts qui ont leur origine dans des amas cellulaires spe´cifiques du tronc ce´re´bral.
