Abstract

Objectives: Many studies have shown that the use of both internal thoracic arteries (BITA) increases long-term survival relative to the use of the single internal thoracic artery (SITA) and saphenous vein grafts (SVG). But on the other side the use of BITA potentially increases the incidence of sternal wound infections.
