Abstract

The effect of anharmonicity on the isotope shift of the superconducting transition temperature is studied within the framework of a modified pseudoharmonic approximation with due account of thermal energy fluctuations. The investigation is performed under the assumption that the main contribution to the electron-phonon interaction constant comes from the selected phonon mode. The results obtained allow the experimental data to be qualitatively interpreted.
