Abstract
The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, also known as COVID-19, has shaken the world, claimed thousands of lives, and impacted economies worldwide. So far in Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan, the situation is still very threatened and facing the reality of preparing to coexist with COVID-19. This study aimed to determine the effect of age, knowledge, and attitudes on COVID-19 prevention behaviour. Collecting data through an interview with the Head of the P2P Division at the Balikpapan City Health Office and distributing online questionnaires using the google form platform to the community of Balikpapan City. Data were processed using SPSS software with a binary logistic regression method. The results showed that 36.7% or 22 people had poor knowledge of COVID-19, while 63.3% or 38 had good knowledge of COVID-19. In addition, 16.7% or ten respondents have a terrible attitude when dealing with COVID-19, while 83.3% or 50 others have a good attitude when dealing with COVID-19. Partially, age and attitude have no significant effect on COVID-19 prevention behaviour.
