Abstract
Virtual acting programs are effective and have the potential to benefit adults with disabilities in many ways. Participants in both delivery models showed improvement in key skills such as improved speaking and reduction of social isolation. Recreational acting courses on virtual platforms increase accessibility, which is especially important for the population of people with physical disabilities, whose mobility can be limited, and may improve their emotional wellbeing. Additional research should be conducted to determine the effectiveness of other recreational activities for those with disabilities when delivered virtually
