Abstract

The influence of an internal stress field of a locked screw dislocation of Burgers vector mb on a pile-up of screw dislocations in a two-phase system composed of two welded elastic half-planes is analyzed using the method of continuously distributed dislocations. The distribution function, the number of dislocations in the pile-up and the τyZ component of stress field on they =o plane are obtained. The results are discussed and applied to the fracture behavior of two-phase systems,
