Abstrak : Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh 5 varietas ubi jalar terhadap produksi ubijalar. Perlakuan tersebut adalah: 5 Varietas ubijalar yakni A = Sukuh; B = Ayamurasaki; C = Sawentar; D = Cangkuang; E = Antin-1. Hasil kajian beberapa varietas ubi jalar menunjukan sangat adaftip untuk lokasi di lahan usaha tani BPP Lampung ini di perlihatkan dengan pertumbuhan sulur yang baik dan sehat serta produksi yang cukup baik. Ubi Jalar (Ipomea batatas L) termasuk ke dalam kelompok umbi-umbian yang mempunyai potensi cukup penting sebagai sumber bahan pangan substitusi. 2001 ubi jalar memiliki keungulan dan keuntungan yang sangat tinggi bagi masyarakat Indonesia yakni: 1) Ubi jalar mudah diproduksi pada berbagai lahan dengan produktifitas antara 20 -40 ton/ha. Pada tahun 2015 total luas areal ubi jalar di Indonesia mencapai 143.125 Ha, produksi mencapai 2.297.634 ton dengan produktifitas hanya mencapai ra-rata 16,03 ton per ha, jauh dari produktifitas di Sumatera Barat yakni 29,9 ton/ha dan jambi sebesar 27,37 ton umbi basah per hektar.
