Abstract

ABSTRACT.The EEG is sensitive to changes in cerebral blood flow and oxygenation and a useful test in the neurological evaluation of patients after hypoxic-ischemic insults. This paper describes the spectrum of EEG changes that typically occur in patients following cardiac arrest.
