A 2022 survey showed that Americans see career preparation as a higher priority for schools than college preparation, making career and technical education (CTE) increasingly relevant. Teresa Preston previews the March 2023 issue of Kappan, focused on CTE. The issue explores the outcomes of CTE programs and what potential benefits of CTE programs might be for students.
