Abstract

The mycorrhizal status of urban white and blue (Picea pungens Engelm.) spruce was determined and the ectomycorrhizal fungi that exist in non-forest soils identified to the extent possible. Results of this study will be compared at a later date to population studies of natural stands of white spruce in the Rocky Mountains
