Abstract

Radical economic reform has not yet led to the formation of fundamentally new relations between producers and consumers of producers' goods. However, when we evaluate the initial results of restructuring, we must note that the present stage has to a considerable degree made it possible to form organizational conditions for the broad development of wholesale trade in the means of production. In this regard, the discussion of wholesale trade problems inaugurated with the article of M. Solodkov and I. Mikheev in Voprosy ekonomiki [Problems of Economics], 1988, no. 4, is of major importance.
