Abstract

A new electrocardiogram (ECG) identity recognition method based on Generalized Regression Neural Network (GRNN) has been proposed in this paper. In this method, only R points are located to get the original single-cycle waveforms. Then, Singular value decomposition (SVD) and linear discriminant analysis (LDA) are used to reduce the dimension of the extracted features. Finally, the GRNN is used to establish a recognition model. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the algorithm, this method was compared with K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Back Propagation (BP) algorithm. The experimental results show that the algorithm is superior to the other methods in both speed and accuracy. Therefore, it is an efficient and simple method, and has wide value of application.
