Abstract

The clinical data of 30 patients with GSC after partial gastrectomy for benign gastric diseases were analyzed retrospectively. Eleven cases accepted radical resection, 11 cases palliative resection and the remaining 8 underwent exploratory laparotomy. It was emphasized that the detection of stump cancer at a relatively early stage, mainly due to screening programmes for gastro-rectomised patients, was important in improving its prognosis.
