Abstract

The formula of exponential time dependence of the radius of spherical bubble is derived. The parameters of this formula are determined for the first time as a result of theoretical analysis. The known experimental data, obtained under conditions of boiling in a body of liquid, on a thin wire, and on a flat surface, are used to demonstrate the much higher accuracy of approximation of these data by the exponential dependence compared to other, most frequently employed, formulas.
