Abstract

A model of classical spins driven by an external alternating field and coupled to a quantum heat bath (a free Bose field) is investigated. An approach based on the Alexandrov method combined with the Zubarev formalism is applied. Evolution equations for the nonequilibrium mean values of three components of the density spin are derived in the limit of a weak coupling between spins and thermal reservoir. The difference between the model considered and its quantum counterpart is discussed.
