Abstract

The dynamics of the Solitary Wave Acoustic Polaron, SWAP, is generalised to include the interaction with optic lattice modes. The thermal stability of the SWAP is explored, and compared to the Davydov Soliton. The SWAP is concluded to be the dominant method of charge transport on polymer chains.
