Abstract
The theory of X-ray two-beam dynamic diffraction by the one-dimensional ideal superlattice (SL) in the Laue and Bragg cases is developed. The reflection and transmission amplitudes of the SL are expressed by those for one period of the SL. General expressions revealing the behavior of the diffraction pattern, irrespective of the particular model, are obtained. A detailed analysis is carried out for the most important case: z0 << \bar \Lambda (z0 and \bar \Lambda being the SL period and the mean extinction length of the crystal, respectively).
